Hey guys! The title probably explained it, but I'm sharing with you 25 different things to do if you are feeling uninspired or bored! This is perfect for summer, because summer is the perfect time to get ahead in your doll social media and such. So, let's get started!
1. Take pictures!
It doesn't have to be outdoor, you can set up a simple set inside. Maybe use a green sheet as a green screen for funny effects! You don't need a fancy camera either, even a regular phone or ipod camera works!
2. Make an AGSM (American-girl stopmotion)
Comment if you want a tutorial!
3. Make a wishlist
Look through Ag's website or etsy!
4.Start a blog!
Perfect for summer, since you can work on it all the time!
5.Do hairstyles
Make up your own to do on your dolls, or look at tutorials on YouTube!
6. Make character bios
Get to know your dolls better and develop their personalities by writing about them. List their WHOLE name, think up nicknames, stories, etc.
7.Make AGMLs! (American Girl Music Videos)
Try out musical.ly or DubSmash if you don't want to make a whole entire songs worth. (My musical.ly- @agfaeries )
8. Dress them up!
Layout your doll clothes, and try something new!
9.Make something
Sew up a dolls dress, make a rug, tie-dye a shirt for them, etc. Add something new and personalized to your collection)
10. Make/Redo a doll space
clear up a spot to keep your dolls or a bedroom for them. If you already have one, give it a little makeover!
11. Just play!
No matter how old you are, sometimes it's just nice to just plain PLAY. You don't have to worry about scripts, camera angles, lighting, etc. It's relaxing, and may give you some ideas for future content.
12. Deep Clean
Wash your doll's hair, and wipe them with a Mr.Clean Magic Eraser. You will notice the difference! I do this time to time with my dolls, and they look AMAZING after.
13. Read
Catch up on any new AG books, or maybe it's a good time to start reading them! (I recommend the Rebecca and Lea ones!)
14. Re-watch Aspen Heights!
Ya know you wanna...
15. Go to the AG place
Don't forget your camera!
16. Cosplay your dolls
Dress them up with handmade Harry Potter costumes... or whatever fandom you're into. :)
17. Do tags and challenges
Even if you don't make AG content, answer the questions to the AgTube tag, or would you rather,. Do it with a friend (they don't have to be into AG) for a good laugh!
18. Make characters
Pick a random doll that you don't have, and give her a name. Basically do a character bio on her. Write down her personality, story, things she like, pet peeves, etc. Maybe you will add her to your wishlist too!
19. Have doll's switch personalities.
This is entertaining. :) Switch the personality of one doll, with another, or just turn her into the opposite. (ex: Tomboy doll who loves football might turn into famous beauty guru who loves cheerleading) You could do this with a friend's doll, or past girl of the year's, as well!
20. Start a series!
Write scripts for each episode, then shoot it! Share it as a written series, YouTube video, etc.
21. Start a doll journal.
Have your doll's "write" entries. This can be helpful to refer to when thinking of content!
22. Give your doll's catchphrases!
Oh my cows potatoes!!!
23. Act out your life problems with your dolls.
You can turn it into a drama series too... if your life is interesting. :P
24. Make a magazine
Add in crafts, advice, hairstyles, etc. to refer back to.
25. Stare at your dolls until you think of something!
It's self explanatory.
