Kracie Poppin Cookin Donuts Kit Review/Tutorial||DIY DONUTS!!!

Hey! It's Reyna, and I know this is very different, but I really want to share this with you! So if you didn't know, I really enjoy making different Japanese candy kits, but all of the instructions are in Japanese! So, I have to do a lot of research to learn how to make them. I like using a lot of Angelynn's (The youtuber) tutorials! Today I'm going to show you how to make these mini donuts!
This is the box. Isn't it cute? The donut pictures are enlarged to show easier. In real life, they are mini bite sized donuts. I purchased my kit from a Japanese market approx. 45 minutes away from me.

This is the back of the box.
All of the materials come in a little package inside of the box. On one side of the package, is a foldable doughnut box. I didn't make the box, but you will want to keep it as a tray to use while making the doughnuts.

This is everything that comes in the set.
-Piping bag
-Assortment of baggies filled with powder
-mixing spoon
-tray
Cut the large tray in the pieces shown. You should have a small triangle piece, a doughnut mold piece, a container with an oval indentation, and a piece with 2 compartments.
Take a bowl of lukewarm water, the container with an oval indentation, and the triangle piece. The triangle piece will be our measuring cup. :) Fill the container with water until the water reaches the oval indentation. This takes approx. 4 scoops from the measuring triangle.
Then take the yellow packet of powder, and pour it into the container with water.
Mix the powder with the water already in the cup.

Mix! Sorry the picture is blurry, but all you need to do is keep mixing until the powder becomes a doughy consistency. It may seem like you need more water, but you most likely don't. I found that the more water you put in, the more the dough would fall apart. You don't want that happening to your donuts!

I then began kneading the dough into a ball with my hands, and placed it onto the packinging tray from earlier.
Next we will make chocolate dough. There are two brown packets, for this part, we need the LARGER one. Set the smaller one aside for later.

Do the same thing we did with the vanilla dough. Add water, then powder. Then mix into a doughy consistency.

Next, take the smaller brown packet. This is going to make a chocolate drizzle. Fill the container with only one triangle spoon of water, and add in the chocolate poweder! This will take less time to make then the powder, and in my opinion, is way more enjoyable! You are trying to make a paste like consistency with this.
Then take the piping bag that comes in the set, and use your mixing spoon to put the chocolate drizzle into the bag! We will use this later.
Now take the part of the tray with 2 little compartments. You will be needing the blue packet. This is going to make some vanilla frosting!
Scoop in one scoop of water with your mixing triangle into each of the compartments. Then pour the contents of the blue bag into one of the compartments. The other one will hold strawberry frosting!
Mix the vanilla powder with the water to create a thick consitency.
Do the same thing with the red packet, but in the other compartment. (The one filled with only water) This will make strawberry frosting, which should be a bit thicker then the vanilla.

This is what you should be left with!
If you are going to be using the donut molds, split one of your dough balls in half evenly.
Then, take one of the halfs and fill it into one of the molds. Try to make it as even and neat as possible, so your donut will be more put together. There is a crueller/flower mold, and a traditional circle mold.
Do the same to other half/mold
Then, picke up the donuts in the mold. be very careful that the donutws don't break or crumble. I used my mixing spoon to help me lift up the donuts. I then set it carefully on the placemat. I preferred how the donuts looked when you flipped them over. The last chocolate one was so hard for me! It kept crumbling when I tried to pick it up, so I just used the flower mold instead of the circle one.
Now comes the best part! Decorating! This is basically just free for all, so you can do whatever you want! If you have the newer kit, it should come with a purple packet as well as sprinkles! The purple packet has bits of crumbled chocolate and vanilla cookie/biscuit!
The drizzle in the piping bag can be used by twisting, and cutting the tip of the bag. I wouldn't be the one to ask about this, since I messed up very... very, badly while using the chocolate drizzle.
HACK: The mixing spoon, is the perfect size for an American Girl Doll!
And that is how you make donuts with the Kracie Poppin Cooking Donut kit! I will have pictures below on how I decorated my donuts!
See you later!
